The Story
Fernanda Cabrera is a multidisciplinary artist and interior designer living in Mexico City. Born in Chihuahua, she holds a degree in Graphic Design from Iberoamerican University and a diploma in Interior Design from Parsons The New School in New York. Fernanda's work dances at the intersection of fine art and design, creating "movement in modern art" and communicating her emotions through a free aesthetic that seeps into every aspect of her projects. Conceptually, she finds inspiration in transforming entire spaces, weaving together painting, sculpture, interior design, and commercial design into a seamless narrative.
Her work embodies a quiet confidence, leaving an indelible mark on pieces that appear deceptively simple yet radiate a profound presence. This multidisciplinary philosophy brings together craft, innovation, and tradition, forging a unique synthesis. Her style blends the masculine and feminine in an organic way, combining textures that whisper stories in harmony. For Fernanda, true inspiration is born from the senses - seeing, feeling, and touching - as she experiments with textures, natural colors, and earthy tones, her hands moving intuitively to connect with her art.
